Which skills you use will largely depend on your party makeup but there are some standouts. Disorienting Blast and Magnesium Rain are gained on the fifth visit.Cause of Death is gained on the fourth visit and beating the battle therein.Indiscriminate Science is gained on the third visit.Plague Grenade is gained on the second visit and after beating the battle therein.Emboldening Vapors is gained on the first visit. Even Pick to the Face is still probably better than darts at Champion level unless you have to attack something with huge PROT.Some of these abilities are unlocked by visiting Shrines of Reflection. You're pretty much always better off using Flashing Daggers/Thrown Dagger/Lunge rather than darts at high level. blight damage doesn't scale well compared to her normal attacks. Sure, but, in the case of Abominations, are you ever really going to be stacking blight damage with the highest damage class in the game? Poison darts is the same sort of problem. Poison Darts/Beast Bile leave -blight resist debuffs useful for stacking blight damage up. Like most DoTs, it makes good sense to use it at Apprentice level, but at Champion, there's much better things for the HM to be doing. But the damage it does is still very low. That's true, and I think that should certainly be taken into consideration when buffing it. Hounds Harry is the only dot that can proc on 4 enemies at once. While I would agree with you, I'll point a few things out: all suffer from the same sorts of problems. I agree the PD gets hurt the most by this, but attacks like Hook and Slice, If It Bleeds/Bleed Out, Hounds Fury, Poison Darts etc. The damage on DoTs at Veteran and especially Champion level is really pitiful.
